RIP (DEEP CUTTING) - R25 per cut

Deep cutting is when railway sleepers are cut into planks down the length of the railway sleeper, All steel needs to be removed before cutting can take place, if we remove the Bolts and cost of R100/ Unit will be applicable.

We cut customer supplied sleepers also.

CROSS CUTS - R60 per meter excl VAT

Cross Cutting is when a Railway Sleeper is cut into shorter lengths

Plane/Thickness - Plain all 4 sides (PAR) - R60 per linear meter excl VAT

Planning is Straightening of the one edge of a timber plank ie for laminating. Thicknessing is edging one edge to be parallel with another ie table top planks

Surfacing - R10 per side

WIRE BRUSHING - R300 per m²

Wire brushing brings out the unique grain and rustic character of railway sleepers ,weathered over hundreds of years. This also removes splinters and gives a smooth feel.

COACH BOLTS/SCREWS - R150 per unit

Coach Screws are all made from high grade cast steel and are all dated from year of manufacture .These have may uses such as door handles, paperweights etc.

COACH SCREW HANDLES - R150 per unit

These are door and drawer handles we make using the original coach screws ,they are drilled and tapped at rear with a slotted head for ease of fitment.
