How is the Flooring Fixed
METHOD 1
BATTEN FITMENT
The Timber is fixed to Battens which is in turn Fixed to the concrete floor with knock in nails, the spacing is usually +-400 mm apart ,followed by sanding and sealing.

METHOD 2
GLUED TO FLOOR
A moisture barrier is applied to the tiles or raw concrete screed, the timber is then glued to the floor and allowed to dry overnight ,followed by sanding and sealing.

Method 3
NAILED TO BEAMS
The Timber is nailed onto the Existing beams i.e. this is usually done on older house where the flooring beams were originally installed and restoration work takes place.
